“We recently hired Colleen to help us downsize and move from our apartment in Guelph to a retirement home in Ottawa. The move involved reducing our furniture, clothes, and other personal items to fit into a unit 2/3 the size of our Guelph unit, packing the contents we were taking to Ottawa, reallocating the remaining items to charity, and hiring and supervising workers to undertake the move, planning the layout of our new home, and unpacking and arranging all our possessions in our new abode including hanging our art work and laying oriental rugs. The work required Colleen and her partner for this job, Cathy travelling to Ottawa and working unsupervised in our new accommodations.

All this work was done with military precision following a scale plan drawn up by Colleen. As a result we were able to move into our unit when we arrived in Ottawa and it immediately felt like our new home. And, for the first time we escaped having to do any packing or unpacking ourselves. Colleen Hopkins and her crew assisted with he disposal of extra items, arranged for a mover and coordinated the move-in date at our new location. Prior to the move, most items ere boxed and labelled with the exception of personal articles and clothes, which ere packed early in the morning on move day.

They were also on hand at 1pm when the mover arrived at our new location to ensure that furniture, items, etc. were placed at their designated locations. By 5pm that day, all boxes had been emptied, the contents placed in their proper locations and all packaging removed - impressive!
